The Oaks Personal Care Home
The Oaks Personal Care Home is designed for residents who desire 24-hour service. All resident rooms are single occupancy and vary in size and decor. An attractively furnished dining area and common space is available to all residents. Although physically attached to The Oaks Nursing Home, The Oaks Personal Care Home is a separate entity and provides a level of care different from that provided in the nursing facility. The most recent inspection of The Oaks Personal Care Home on February 9, 2017 resulted in zero deficiencies. This is the second consecutive deficiency-free survey.
Staff in the personal care home are trained Certified Nursing Assistants and have Registered Nurse oversight, but they do not provide skilled nursing care. Staff are available to assist each resident with their medication regimen, baths, personal care and grooming, as well as prepare meals and provide housekeeping and laundry service. The facility will also arrange emergency transfer of the resident to a hospital if this is ordered by a physician. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy is available to residents on an outpatient basis through The Oaks Nursing Home.
